Inventory Auditor
Shift Times: 06.00 - 14.00 - Monday to Friday
Pay Rate : £17.23
Location: Progress Way, Birmingham, B40 1AB
We are currently recruiting an Inventory Auditor on behalf of our client, a leading automotive manufacturer. This role is key to ensuring inventory accuracy and supporting operational efficiency within a high-volume production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform cycle counts of all inventory items across the site.
Develop and maintain a cycle count tracker aligned to A/B/C stock classifications.
Review booking sheets, report discrepancies to management, and support KPI tracking and improvement actions.
Investigate and determine root causes of stock variances (losses and gains).
Collaborate with the BOM team to identify and resolve bill of materials errors.
Maintain and update manual booking records.
Investigate negative stock levels in the system and implement corrective action plans.
Support Goods In Clerks in accurately booking inventory using AS400/System 21.
Assist in production booking of sequence and scrap reports.
Generate plan adherence reports.
Raise and process cycle count adjustment sheets.
Execute stock adjustments through System 21.
Validate booking transactions from the CTS2 system.
Audit production scrap bookings within System 21.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Experience with AS400 / System 21 is highly advantageous.
Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
