Job Description
* Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Lead the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
* Manage cash flow, financial risks, and investment strategies for the business.
* Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
* Ensure the accuracy of financial data and maintain robust internal controls.
* Supervise and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
* Coordinate with external auditors and manage year-end audits.
* Drive process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and performance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller should have:
* A strong background in accounting and finance within the leisure, travel & tourism industry.
* Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
* Proven ability to develop and manage financial strategies effectively.
* Experience in leading finance teams and delivering complex financial projects.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
* Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
