A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Associate Dentist to join a well-established mixed practice in the Barnsley area, offering a balanced NHS and private workload (60% NHS / 40% private). You’ll be stepping into an inherited patient list with consistent demand and excellent scope for private growth. The practice is a friendly, community-focused 2-surgery site located in a welcoming village setting, with a loyal patient base and strong reputation. The Role: 2-3 days per week (flexible on days) Working hours: 8:45–16:45 or 9:00–17:00 Mixed NHS/private workload (60/40 split) UDA rate: £12–£14 (DOE) Private split: 45% - 50% UDA target: Flexible (to be discussed) Inherited list with ongoing demand Strong private uptake – particularly cosmetic and aligner treatments Practice & Support: Fully digital practice with iTero scanner, digital X-rays, rotary endo, apex locators Software: Pearl system Supportive team including qualified nurses, trainee nurse, and hygienist On-site and street parking available Established patient base with proven monthly gross (~£18K across 2 days) Requirements: GDC registered Dentist Active NHS Performer Number Minimum 2 years UK experience preferred Confident managing NHS workload Team player with a flexible, positive attitude Interested in this position?
