Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 12‑month fixed‑term contract Sexual Health Nurse to cover maternity leave within the axess Warrington & Halton Sexual Health service.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver patient care and manage all areas within the department with professionalism and clinical expertise.
* Conduct consultations for contraception and STI screening.
* Dispense contraceptive and STI treatments from a PGD.
* Provide STI management, health advising and results management.
* Insert LARC methods, including sub‑dermal implants.
* Travel to all axess Warrington & Halton sites (Runcorn, Widnes, Warrington, Orford) on a rotational basis.
* Support the seamless day‑to‑day management of the integrated sexual health service.
* Work evenings and Saturdays as required.
Contract Details
12‑month fixed‑term contract, Band 6.
