Join our award-winning hospitality group in the heart of the Scottish Highlands! Loch Rannoch Hotel, Spa & Estate is a stunning 4-star luxury resort and TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice winner (top 10% globally), set on 250 acres overlooking Loch Rannoch and the famous Munro, Schiehallion. Following our successful transformation over the past 5 years, we're expanding with the acquisition of Dunalastair Hotel Suites (5-star) and launching Kinloch Rannoch Country Store in late summer 2025.
The Role
We're seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to join our senior management team and drive revenue growth across our expanding three-property portfolio. Reporting directly to the Cluster General Manager, you'll develop and execute integrated marketing strategies for our luxury hotel properties and country store, working closely with the Hotel Managers of both hotels and the Country Store Manager to achieve our ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead sales and marketing strategy across Loch Rannoch Hotel, Spa & Estate (4-star), Dunalastair Hotel Suites (5-star), and Kinloch Rannoch Country Store
* Manage and grow our social media presence (Facebook, Instagram) with engaging Highland-focused content
* Design compelling marketing materials, seasonal campaigns, and digital assets
* Assist the revenue manager's efforts to reduce commissions by optimizing SEO
* Assist the Hotel Managers and revenue Manager with group requests, pricing and contracting
* Execute targeted email marketing campaigns and grow our subscriber base
* Develop partnerships with local suppliers, tour operators, and Highland tourism networks
* Coordinate marketing for our renowned Rannoch Spa (featuring ESPA treatments) and leisure facilities
* Support the integration and marketing of our new country store to hotel guests
* Analyse competitor activities in the 4-5 star Highland hospitality market
* Manage marketing budget allocation and demonstrate clear ROI
* Focus on convertingeinquiries through targeted follow-up campaigns
* Assist in developing packages that encourage longer stays and shoulder season stays
Essential Requirements
* Proven track record in sales and marketing within the Scottish hospitality sector
* Specific experience with 4-5 star hotels or luxury Highland accommodation
* Knowledge of PMS systems, revenue management and use of Lighthouse Intelligence system
* Strong social media management with demonstrable growth and engagement results
* Graphic design expertise (Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent)
* Deep understanding of Scottish tourism market and Highland visitor demographics
* OTA management experience (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.) with revenue optimization focus
* Email marketing platform proficiency
* Data analysis skills and experience with hospitality metrics (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy)
Desirable Skills
* Experience with spa and wellness facility sales and marketing
* Knowledge of rural retail/country store operations
* Photography skills for Highland landscape and property content creation
* SEO and digital marketing expertise
* Understanding of international visitor markets (Netherlands, France, Germany, US)
