o Telephone answering and directing calls or forwarding messages
o Assisting with purchasing tasks

* Take an interest in sheet metal fabrication and electronics assembly; increase general knowledge of business units through trade magazines, web browsing, podcasts, etc.
* Attain relevant NVQ-based apprentice qualification
* Identify areas for waste reduction and suggest changes to improve efficiency & effectiveness
* Career progression through Purchasing & Materials Management is a potential pathway
Training
* Level 3 Business Administration at Exeter College
Qualifications required
* GCSE Maths and English Grade 4 (C) or equivalent
Skills required
* Willingness to learn and retain knowledge
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
* Knowledge of procurement techniques

* Qualification / Standard: ST0070 Business administrator, Duration: 18 months
