The role
Our Private Client Business team is recruiting for a Part qualified/Qualified Senior to join them in London. You will become a key part of the team, which provides audit, accounting and advisory services to a diverse range of businesses.
The responsibilities
1. Project manage and drive forwards the audit and accounting process, including liaising directly with senior individuals in clients' finance teams.
2. Get actively involved in every aspect of the audit process, taking ownership of planning, fieldwork, and the completion on audit engagements, working closely with managers and partners, across the four teams that make up the Private Client Business Group
3. Have the opportunity to get involved in the direction and overall running of the team
4. Our Audit Seniors are often given the opportunity to manage a small portfolio of jobs, which helps you to develop the next stage of your career progression, such as managing accounts preparation jobs
5. Identify, research and help to resolve complex audit issues.
The team
The Private Client Group advise individuals on all aspects of their wealth, be that personal tax advisory or undertaking corporate compliance for their owner managed businesses. You will work across a huge variety of sectors including landed estate, retail and hospitality, financial services and sports and entertainment. Our clients range from entrepreneurial owner managed businesses to medium-large international groups.

You
6. Experience working in an audit and accounts practice.
7. ACA, ACCA part qualified, fully qualified or equivalent with good pass rates in the professional exams.
8. Demonstrated experience of managing, training, and mentoring staff on projects, and assessing performance.
9. Technically strong with a good and up to date knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
10. Demonstrate a passion for delivering quality, ensuring that client needs are met.
11. Sets priorities, defines activities, gives responsibilities and plans work so that results are achieved on time.
12. Be organised and commercially minded. Displaying a flexible, professional approach and have the confidence to establish credibility with Partners and clients.
13. Work cooperatively with others, motivating others to succeed.
Reward and benefits
14. A 35 hour working week with a hybrid working policy with the flexibility to work from home for up to three days per week (our core hours are 10-4)
15. Paid overtime or time off in lieu
16. Excellent benefits including; contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave, Life Assurance cover and great flexible benefits and family friendly policies,
17. Eligibility for the firm's Profit-Sharing Plan. Paid in December. The scheme enables staff to share in the profits of the firm.
