Overview
The Senior Manager, Compensation will lead the strategic design, implementation, and governance of global compensation programs, including base salary administration, annual incentive plans, and long-term equity strategies. This role will serve as a key advisor to the Director of Compensation and collaborate with HR Business Partners, senior executives, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with enterprise-wide objectives. The Senior Manager will also oversee a team of compensation professionals and drive continuous improvement across compensation operations.
Responsibilities
* Serve as a strategic thought partner to HR and business leaders across global functions, influencing compensation decisions that support talent and business strategies.
* Consult with local EMEA leadership on compensation philosophy
* Oversee market analyses and benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices across geographies and job families.
* Own the development and evolution of global salary structures, job architecture frameworks, and compensation governance policies.
* Present compensation insights, trends, and risk assessments to executive leadership and influence strategic decisions.
* Ensure compliance with UK and EMEA compensation regulations
* Develop and deliver enterprise-wide training and communication strategies to support compensation programs and change initiatives.
* Drive compensation-related projects and process improvements with a focus on scalability, automation, and operational excellence.
* Mentor and manage a team of compensation analysts and managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or CCP certification strongly preferred.
* Extensive experience in compensation, including leadership roles in global organizations.
* Proven experience managing large-scale compensation cycles and leading cross-functional initiatives.
* Advanced analytical and modeling skills with expertise in Excel, MarketPay, and enterprise HRIS platforms.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and drive alignment.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Strong commitment to data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with global compensation standards.
