The ideal candidate will oversee financial activities, ensure adherence to regulatory standards, and support key financial decision-making. This role demands a solid grasp of financial concepts combined with exceptional organisational abilities to maintain precise records and reports.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day financial tasks, including processing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
* Collaborate with management by providing accurate financial information and insights.
* Support the creation and refinement of financial policies and procedures to improve operational workflows.
* Stay informed about current financial regulations and industry best practices to maintain compliance.
* Meet monthly financial deadlines consistently and efficiently.
Candidate Profile
* Demonstrated experience in financial administration or a related role; experience in the construction sector is a plus.
* Strong analytical aptitude with the capability to interpret detailed financial data accurately.
* Skilled in accounting software, preferably Xero, and proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
