Secondary Teaching Assistant - Clitheroe / Ribble ValleyVeritas Education - Day-to-Day & Long-Term Opportunities

Veritas Education are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistants to work across a range of secondary schools in the Clitheroe and Ribble Valley area. We have both day-to-day supply and long-term placements available, offering flexibility to suit your availability and career goals.

This is an excellent opportunity to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, working alongside experienced teaching staff to help deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted support to pupils with a range of learning needs.

Key Responsibilities: * Supporting teachers in delivering lessons across a variety of subjects * Working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis with students * Assisting pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN * Helping to manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies * Preparing learning materials and supporting classroom organisation * Encouraging student participation and engagement

Requirements: * Previous experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * A patient, supportive and adaptable approach * Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
