As a Pharmacist at our Shrewsbury Hospital, you’ll be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and you’ll have proven post-qualification experience. It’s also important that you have excellent communication and people skills, as you’ll be working closely with our patients and a variety of clinical staff.
Responsibilities

* Be the trusted Medicines Management Lead for our hospital
* Deliver high-quality clinical care and advice where it’s needed
* Offer services to a range of departments, including the pre-assessment clinic, outpatient department, ward and theatres
Working on the bank
Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

Hospital Overview
Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as ‘Good’ in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit, and a busy out department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X‑ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities.
We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron‑led nursing team. We specialise in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women’s health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management.
