College Services Assistant – Join Our Dynamic Support Team

We’re looking for ahighly organised and proactive College Services Assistantto join our friendly and fast-pacedCollege Support Services team at EKC Ashford College.

This varied and vital role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of the college, supporting key services that keep everything running smoothly for staff and students alike.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

* Providingefficient and effective administrative supportacross a range of college services

* Assisting withstudent applications, enrolments, exams, and enquiriesusing our corporate data systems

* Supporting the smooth running of theService Help Desk– reviewing logged jobs, directing requests to the right teams, and ensuring timely follow-up

* Coordinating bookingsfor pool vehicles and helping to manage day-to-day logistics

* Working closely with other departments to help deliver an excellent service experience for all users

About You

As a vital part of our frontline support team, you’ll handle a wide range of responsibilities and work with staff, students, and external stakeholders—so strong communication andexceptional customer service skillsare a must.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

* Responding tocalls, queries, and visitorswhile managing ongoing administrative tasks

* Supporting thereception functionand ensuring a professional, welcoming environment

* Managing and processingcurriculum applicationsfor the upcoming academic year, as well ascurrent short course enquiries

* Contributing to key college operations, including:

o Student enrolment and records

o Timetabling support

o Exam administration

o Data entry and document processing

* Collaborating with colleagues and external contacts to ensure timely and accurate service delivery

* Working totight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
