Job Title – Geotechnical Engineer
Salary - up to £30,000 – £50,000 (DOE)

Our client is a well-known, highly regarded engineering consultancy with a UK wide presence. They specialise working across several sectors including environmental, highways, and commercial. They have a fantastic reputation for designing and delivering some of the most complex infrastructure and development schemes in the UK. This organisation has the benefit of working with a range of excellent clients, including many of the UK's leading blue chip property developers.
Our client is now looking to strengthen their Geotechnical team with this exciting opportunity in either their Birmingham or Manchester office.
This opportunity is open to anyone from Engineer through to Principle and this is intended to be a hybrid-based consultancy role and will get you involved in projects of varying sizes and geotechnical complexity, from concept through to construction.

What are we looking for?
* The ideal candidate will have 1 - 5+ years of UK consultancy based experience
* Passion for ground engineering
* Experience of geoenvironmental reporting, particularly Tier 2 and 3 analyses, options appraisals and remediation strategies and verification would be beneficial
* Analysis of geotechnical data, preparation of ground models, design and reporting on foundations, retaining walls, slope stability and stabilisation, and ground improvement.
* Independently use design software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D and GEO5
