The Opportunity We’re working with a leading client in the aerospace and defence sector, supporting the growth of their firmware/FPGA capability across the UK. Instead, we’re interested in people who: Have ~2–3 years’ experience in firmware, embedded systems or FPGA Or have strong hands-on experience through personal projects or hobbies Enjoy working close to hardware and solving real-world engineering problems Are curious, motivated and keen to keep learning. Experience could include: VHDL / Verilog / FPGA development Embedded C / C++ Microcontrollers, hardware interfaces, or digital design Personal builds, home labs, or side projects Why this is different A lot of engineers don’t realise that their skills are highly transferable into defence.
