We are seeking a reliable and responsible Mini Bus Driver to join our team to work in a school based in Cramlington, Northumberland.
The successful candidate will safely transport pupils to and from school and on school trips, ensuring the welfare and safety of all passengers at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate the school mini bus on designated routes.
* Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.
* Ensure pupils are transported safely, courteously, and on time.
* Maintain good behaviour and safeguarding standards during transport.
* Keep accurate transport records where required.
* Follow all road traffic laws and school safeguarding procedures.
* Assist with loading and unloading passengers when necessary.
Essential Requirements
* Full UK driving licence with D1 entitlement.
* Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the DBS Update Service.
* Good driving record and understanding of road safety regulations.
* Ability to work independently and responsibly.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Punctual, trustworthy, and professional manner.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
