The role

To retain and grow business through a proactive, sales‑ and customer‑service‑led approach. To support the commercial objectives of the Plaswood business by maximizing all sales opportunities, developing existing accounts, and contributing to new business growth.


Key Responsibilities

* Process customer orders, quotes, and enquiries accurately and on time
* Follow up leads and quotations to maximize sales opportunities
* Build strong relationships with customers, including key accounts
* Identify new business opportunities and support sales growth
* Manage a pipeline of opportunities and track progress
* Deliver excellent customer service and manage aftercare
* Handle customer queries, complaints, and delivery issues promptly
* Keep customers informed on order status and shipping updates
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
* Maintain accurate customer and CRM data
* Support reporting and general administrative tasks
* Contribute to continuous improvement and team objectives
* Take ownership of your development and training


Qualifications/Requirements

* Experience in a sales or customer service role
* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
* Highly organized with the ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
* Detail‑focused with good problem‑solving skills
* Commercially aware and able to spot opportunities
* Team player with a proactive, can‑do attitude
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
* Experience with CRM systems (desirable)
* GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
