Permanent Purchase Ledger job – Based in Dudley

Hays are working with an organisation who are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, timely payments to suppliers, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Your new role
* Review, reconcile and file supplier statements
* Action incoming purchase invoices
* Review, code and process purchase invoices.
* Deal with supplier accounts enquiries and queries.
* Set up of new suppliers
* Prepare/draft supplier payment runs
* Ensure purchase ledgers are accurate to tie in with month-end reporting
What you'll need to succeed
o Previous experience in a purchase ledger role
o Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
o Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
o Strong communication skills for dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
