Role Overview
This position is part of the Controls Assurance Team within the broader ASOS Finance Department. The role involves assessing, documenting, and executing internal control assessments, addressing control deficiencies, and supporting the development and implementation of effective controls. You will collaborate with business partners, provide advice on control management, and ensure data accuracy in the GRC tool.
Responsibilities
1. Testing, reporting, and delivering internal controls reviews.
2. Conducting process walkthroughs as part of the controls assurance program.
3. Supporting the remediation of control gaps by designing and implementing standardized controls.
4. Advising on controls management, including control design reviews and RACMs.
5. Collaborating with stakeholders and assurance providers, including Internal Auditors.
6. Promoting a culture of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
Controls Assurance Specific Tasks
1. Testing financial and non-financial controls.
2. Ensuring high-quality documentation and investigating issues as needed.
3. Supporting control remediation activities and tracking actions.
4. Managing monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation testing and reporting.
5. Maintaining data integrity in the GRC tool, including RACMs and issues.
6. Providing ad-hoc internal control advice to finance teams.
Key Relationships
Financial Control, Finance Tech, and Commercial Finance teams.

Candidate Profile
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
* Extensive experience with Internal Controls and Business Processes.
* Knowledge of internal controls, UK Corporate Governance Code, and RACMs.
* Experience with ERP systems and control system improvements.
* Strong data analysis skills using Excel or analytical tools.
* Ability to meet deadlines, attention to detail, stakeholder management skills, and a proactive learning attitude.
