Overall Purpose of the Job
To provide New Build project management within the ship management team, coordinating with multiple stakeholders under the guidance of the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
1. Define and agree on project boundaries and responsibilities following project management best practices.
2. Develop project plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Monitor and report on project progress at various stages.
4. Identify and document project risks, opportunities, and lessons learned.
5. Attend and participate in new build and project meetings, including international travel.
6. Visit project sites regularly, involving domestic and international travel.
7. Coordinate with stakeholder groups and develop multi-stakeholder relationships.
8. Maintain comprehensive project documentation and stakeholder records.
9. Perform other duties as appropriate to the role.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Proven experience in a maritime environment with a nautical, engineering, or naval architecture background.
* Management qualification in the relevant field (e.g., STCW II/2, III/2, Degree).
* Experience managing large-scale projects, preferably involving newbuild ships.
* Certificated in project management (PRINCE2 or equivalent).
* Excellent multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
