What will you be doing?
The Senior Sales Manager will manage raised access floors key accounts across the UK in relation to pipeline management, forecasting and support. Providing comprehensive sales & technical support to secure sales orders.
Key objectives in your role as Senior Sales Manager include:
Working alongside the General Manager Contracts to determine the overall strategy for maximising contribution and volume against sales targets.
Providing sales forecasting in line with overall targets.
Identifying, establishing and converting key main contractor partners for the region.
Presenting and communicating Tate, sales presentation to architects, developers, contractors, and other project stakeholders where required.
Managing the sales database and ensuring that the project status, order and install dates are accurate and up to date.
Providing general intelligence on the raised access flooring marketplace, including pricing levels and general competitor information.
Providing monthly sales reports.
Evaluating construction specifications and providing product recommendations to meet project requirements.
Working collaboratively with the Estimating and Contracts Teams, providing support where necessary.
Attending pre-tender, mid-bid and pre-order meetings.
Any other reasonable duties as and when required.
Compliance:
Adhere to the Company's compliance obligations, policies, processes, and procedures.
Report compliance concerns, issues, and failures.
Participate in training as required.
What do you need?
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline i.e. construction, building engineering, architecture, etc.
Previous professional experience in a role of sales management in the construction industry.
A proven track record in developing and closing large commercial construction projects.
Proficient user of MS Office and CRM software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adapting approach when necessary in order to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to set objectives and prioritise workloads.
Demonstrates a commercial understanding of project risks.
