AI Engineer – Newark, Full Time, Permanent
Salary £35,000 - £38,000 DOE
Our award-winning client, based in Newark, Nottinghamshire is seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join their team and drive development and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions. This is a full time, permanent position with the opportunity for hybrid working.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and implement AI models and algorithms for various applications.
* Optimize and scale machine learning models for performance and efficiency.
* Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.
* Analyse large datasets to extract meaningful insights and improve model accuracy.
* Develop and maintain documentation for AI systems, processes, and workflows.
* Ensure user adoption of AI tools through effective communication, training, and support strategies.
* Ensure ethical and responsible use of AI technologies.
Qualifications
* Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field (desirable).
* Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
* Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
* Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or blockchain technologies.
* Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Understanding of cloud technologies, security principles, and modern development tools.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams.
* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices, and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ would be beneficial.
* Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops and Power BI.
