Our Hospitality & Catering department is excited to announce a vacancy for a Lecturer in Hospitality & Catering.
We seek a passionate and experienced individual to join our dedicated team and help shape the future of our students at Macclesfield College.
The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Hospitality and Catering department and to develop a Centre of Excellence for hospitality in the area. The ideal candidate will have recent industrial and commercial experience in the sector and will play a key role in developing the academy and its offerings.
Our curriculum includes full-time catering courses leading to further training, apprenticeships, and employment, as well as a wide range of adult catering and culinary courses.
Your responsibilities will include marketing, delivering, and assessing our Hospitality & Catering courses across various levels. You will also liaise with local businesses and stakeholders to facilitate learners' professional experience and ensure a positive educational experience.
Main Duties
* Plan teaching, learning, and assessment activities using college formats and processes to ensure an effective curriculum.
* Deliver teaching and learning to at least a good or outstanding standard to achieve high success rates.
* Adhere to college quality assurance procedures to ensure successful internal and external audits.
* Utilize resources effectively to promote positive learning outcomes and uphold high professional standards.
* Assist with marketing college programmes, including identifying new opportunities, attending events, and interview evenings to boost learner recruitment.
