Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a MIG/TIG Welder, based in Wellingborough. The MIG/TIG Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating various metal components, repairing and maintaining equipment, and ensuring that all work is completed to high standards. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, contributing to project planning, handling metal materials safely, and conducting quality control checks on completed projects.
Qualifications
Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, and experience with various metals.
Fabrication and repair skills, including reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings.
Knowledge of metalworking tools and safety procedures relevant to welding and fabrication.
Attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality final products.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other team members and departments.
Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues are advantageous.
Relevant welding certifications or vocational training preferred.
