A highly regarded planning consultancy with a strong presence across the UK is seeking an Associate Planner to join its Cornish office. This is an exciting growth opportunity within a small, dynamic team that currently includes a Partner, Senior Associate and Principal. The new Associate Planner will help bridge the gap to Principal level and play a key role in supporting the team’s continued success. You’ll be part of a practice known for delivering clear, realistic planning advice with a personalised service, working across a wide range of development sectors and project types. The firm’s approach combines technical excellence with strategic insight to add value for clients and secure positive planning outcomes. What You’ll Do Lead and manage planning projects from inception to completion. Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals and representations. Assist in developing and implementing business development initiatives to grow the practice. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Provide strategic planning advice underpinned by strong knowledge of policy and best practice. Mentor and support junior team members. Who We’re Looking For A qualified planner with relevant experience post-Senior Associate level. Strong technical and analytical planning skills. Excellent communicator with proven client-facing experience. Commercially minded, confident in supporting business development activity.
