What Youll Be Doing Be the first point of contact for customers in your designated sales area Handle incoming enquiries, provide quotations, process and following up with clients Support Area Sales Managers and work collaboratively to grow business in your region Maintain and update sales activity in the CRM system (SAP) Prepare accurate technical and commercial documentation Identify new opportunities for business development and upselling Assist with customer visits, exhibitions, and presentations Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, systems, and commercial) to support customer needs Communicating with existing and lapsed customers Must-Haves Experience in a technical sales, internal sales, or customer support role Technical qualification (ONC/HNC/HND) or equivalent experience in an engineering environment Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM/ERP systems (ideally SAP) High level of commercial awareness and customer service focus Nice-to-Haves Previous experience working in engineering or industrial equipment sectors Exposure to key account management or cross-functional teams Knowledge of a product range or similar technical products (product training will be provided) Experience supporting field sales teams or external account managers Benefits Comprehensive product and system training Supportive team culture with opportunities for professional development Exposure to high-profile customers and key accounts in your sales region Holiday - 25 days bank holidays (we close over Christmas and these are taken from the holiday entitlement) Birthday off in addition!
