We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project / Launch Manager to lead and coordinate projects from initiation through to completion for our client, a global 3rd Party Logistics provider. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while managing resources and stakeholder expectations effectively. They should have the ability to look at continuous improvements that enhance value for the customer - whether internal or external. Key Responsibilities * Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives. * Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques. * Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. * Report and escalate issues to management as needed. * Perform risk management to minimize project risks. * Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. * Conduct post-launch evaluations to assess performance and gather lessons learned. The successful candidate will have the following key skills and experience: * Must be computer literate. * Experience with MS office packages * Proven working experience as a Project / Launch Manager in a relevant field and track record of delivering projects on time, within scope and budget. * Proven continuous improvement experience. * Process engineer skills advantageous. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities. * Natural leader with an ability to inspire performance with all stakeholders. * A dynamic, pro-active approach to working with customers, quickly addressing their needs and ensuring any issues and challenges are resolved swiftly. * Excellent presentation skills * Full Clean Driving License * Problem-solving and decision-making * Time management Personal competencies: * Must possess a ‘Can Do Attitude’ with the desire and ability to provide sustainable solutions. * A strong but calm and engaging personality * Innovative * Having the ability to prioritise responsibilities * Ability to communicate clear messages and take ownership of delivery by involving others. * Active listening skills to VOC (Voice of Customer) with the ability to resolve issues and deliver on service requirements. * Able to identify improvements and see those improvements though to implementation. * Must be determined, keen to learn and develop Company benefits - including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with option to purchase up to an additional 5 days Location - On site in Redditch with requirements to travel in the UK on occasion and possibly abroad. Working hours - Monday to Friday 08.00 – 16:30 (30 mins break) some weekend working may be required during busy periods.
