SUPPLY CHAIN PROJECT MANAGER (VIE)
We are seeking a motivated and analytical International Volunteer to join our team.
This role involves being engaged in the different areas of the Supply chain operations in the country (demand&supply, warehousing or transportation). It will imply activities across the year in both project management and operations related tasks.
This role and within the journey will include analysis of local supply chain processes, tools, challenges and the development of action plans to improve operational efficiency and/or support implementation of new project.
This mission is crucial for aligning local operations with global standards and improving overall efficiency. For the candidate, this experience can be highly beneficial as it could open for a further engagement at Lyreco, preparing him/her through the country operations immersion to be engaged within our group team to support the implementation of our new ERP system.
YOUR MISSIONS :
Beyond being engaged in the Lyreco day to day business processes and operations management practices (critical for the role), it should include:
1. Analysis of Local Supply Processes:
• Conduct a thorough analysis of existing local supply chain processes, tools, and systems.
• Identify local challenges and bottlenecks in the supply chain.
• Document current workflows, tools utilized, and key performance indicators.
• Engage with local teams and stakeholders to gather insights and understand operational nuances.
2. Gap Analyses:
• Compare local supply chain processes with group-level processes to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of local processes against group benchmarks.
• Identify missing elements, tools, or practices that are present at the group level but absent locally.
• Develop a detailed report highlighting the findings of the gap analysis.
3. Recommandation and Action Plan:
• Based on the analysis and gap assessment, prepare strategic recommendations to bridge identified gaps.
• Develop a comprehensive action plan to implement best practices and tools to achieve operational excellence.
• Collaborate with local and group teams to ensure the feasibility and alignment of recommendations with organizational goals
• Deploy recommendations with local team
• Present findings and action plans to senior management and key stakeholders.
YOUR PROFILE :
• Engineer degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferably, experience in supply chain management, process analysis, or operational excellence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
• Fluency in English; proficiency in the local language is an advantage
• Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) • Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools.
• Project management experience
• Ability to adapt to new environments and challenges quickly.
