Clinical Support Worker - Unplanned Care Division
Join to apply for the Clinical Support Worker - Unplanned Care Division role at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust.
We are recruiting Clinical Support Workers to join Mary Ward, Nicholas Ward & Beauchamp Ward at our hospital in Warwick.
Mary Ward is a 25‑beded respiratory ward caring for patients with acute medical conditions including COPD, lung cancer, pneumonia, and other respiratory diseases. Some patients may require non‑invasive ventilation (BiPAP). Many of our patients are known to the team over months or even years between admissions, allowing us to build strong, supportive relationships. We also provide palliative and end‑of‑life care, working closely with specialist teams to ensure compassionate support and effective symptom management.
Beauchamp Ward consists of 15 en suite side rooms and cares for up to 17 patients with a wide range of conditions. We frequently care for patients with infectious conditions, especially during winter. The ward also supports neurodiverse patients and provides a private, dignified environment for those in the last hours or days of life.
Nicholas Ward is a 27‑beded acute emergency care unit supporting older adults living with frailty. The team works within a specialist, supportive multidisciplinary environment to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care. This role offers the opportunity to develop skills in dementia care, long‑term condition management, and patient support.
