The post holder will be responsible for undertaking clinical and administrative duties related to immunisation, primarily delivered on site for primary and secondary children in schools and community clinic settings.

* Work collaboratively to support the team, organisation, and stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Promote and support the operation of our School Aged Immunisation Service.
* Support Programme Managers, Team Lead, and Clinical Lead as applicable.
* Attend sites across different locations as directed by your line manager.
* Deliver effective, evidence-based, and competent care to patients.
* Participate in clinical supervision and staff development.
* Report, monitor, and process all clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints in line with organisational policies.
* Participate in audits, make recommendations, and share outcomes for learning.
* Maintain up-to-date records in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
* Contribute actively to team meetings.
* Undertake Gillick Competency Assessments and obtain verbal consent from parents and caregivers.
* Perform other duties as appropriate for this position.

Job responsibilities
* Vaccinate 20 to 25 school children per hour during flu season.
* Support the team and stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Support the operation of the School Aged Immunisation Service.

* Provide competent, evidence-based care.
* Participate in clinical supervision and staff development.
* Report and monitor clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints.

* Attend clinical supervision with the Clinical Lead as directed.
* Contribute to team meetings.
* Undertake Gillick Competency Assessments and obtain verbal consent.
* Perform other duties as appropriate.
* Work between 7 am and 6 pm on a rostered basis.
* Pickup and drop vaccinations back to base when needed.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse, Pharmacist, or Allied Healthcare professional registered with NMC, GPhC, or HCPC. Nursing or Midwifery qualification. Basic Life Support certification (Desirable). Evidence of vaccination competencies (Desirable).
* Ongoing professional development evidence. Experience working within PGD frameworks. Understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule. Knowledge of informed consent principles. Computer literacy, including basic Excel skills. Cold chain management, ordering, and transport arrangements.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and time-management abilities. Customer service and people management skills. Assertiveness, teamwork, and critical thinking. Driving license (Desirable).
