Freelance Health & Safety Advisor – Luton Rate: £300/day We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a major client-side logistics project involving construction and refurbishment. You’ll be the go-to H&S lead on site—driving compliance, ensuring CDM regulations are met, and keeping multiple contractors in check. This is a fast-paced environment where you’ll have full autonomy and the backing of a solid project team. Key Responsibilities: * Lead health and safety on site across a multi-contractor environment * Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks * Liaise with site teams and senior stakeholders * Ensure compliance with UK CDM and Irish H&S legislation * Investigate incidents and ensure effective corrective actions Requirements: * 5 years in a construction-focused H&S role * NEBOSH General Certificate (or higher) * Solid understanding of CDM regulations (client-side experience preferred) * Strong communicator with the confidence to challenge unsafe behaviours What’s on Offer: * £300 per day (depending on experience and tax status) * Key role on a high-profile project * On-site parking and facilities * Full autonomy in a client-facing position
