About the Role:
We are a well-established organisation that supports adults with catastrophic and complex neurological injuries. We are looking to recruit an experienced, compassionate and dedicated individual to supervise a team who are supporting a gentleman with a severe spinal cord injury to live in his own home with as much independence as possible. The client is wheelchair dependent and requires assistance with all activities of daily living.
In this role you will be providing guidance and leadership to the team in order for them to maintain the client's independence and to improve the client's quality of life. This is a truly rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake all day-to-day clinical care duties
* Commit to up to 8 hours per week for admin and team management work.
* Undertake staff supervision, rotas and timesheets.
* Lead, organise and over-see day - to – day workflow and team schedules.
* Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
* Provide regular updates and communication to the Case Manager/Nurse Care Manager as required
* Promote a positive and collaborative working culture.
* Support and assist with rehabilitation programs and therapeutic exercises.
* Meeting the client's physical and psychological needs.
