Senior Commercial Manager Location: Bridgwater offices with regular site visits required and hybrid working arrangements available Up to £300.00pd PAYE (36 days holiday) or Up to £700.00pd via approved Umbrella Initial CED 31/12/2024 The Senior Commercial Manager is commercially responsible, on each contract assigned to them, for: Supporting the Procurement Process during contract creation (pre-award) to enable successful award and, Commercially leading and managing the contract/s to successful completion during the execution phase to maximise operational and financial performance and minimise commercial risk in order to help support the safe and cost-effective delivery of NNB programme and business objectives. The Senior Commercial Manager is a key role within the NNB Commercial Group with accountability to the Commercial Lead for the successful commercial delivery of one or more NNB contracts. As such the Senior Commercial Manager is empowered to make decisions around the Principal Accountability areas, under the overall guidance of the above. The Senior Commercial Manager will be the primary point of commercial contact on the contract/s assigned to them and will be required to work closely and pro-actively with the other stakeholders at all levels and across all the teams within Nuclear New Build to ensure that the requirements of the individual contracts and their impact upon the overall HPC Project are successfully delivered. Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience: Effective commercial / contract management skills, with clear knowledge of best practice contract methodologies Demonstrable track record of administering successful contracts. Highly developed commercial skills and demonstrable ability to make sound decisions on matters of significant financial value. Good understanding of contract performance measurement, risk management and change and claim management. Good negotiating, influencing and communication skills to command professional respect at all levels.
