An exciting opportunity has come about for an experienced individual within the Coventry (and surrounding) area to join a well-established and highly regarded Main Contractor who have been delivering lasting impact for clients within both the Public and Private Sectors.
My client currently enjoys a turnover of £70 million with project values reaching up to £20 million.
The ideal candidate will be a Contracts Manager and will join the Building Division, supporting the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects. The Role:
1. As a Contracts Manager you will play an integral role in running multiple sites within the West Midlands area.
2. Overseeing individual site teams, which will be headed up with project managers and site managers.
3. Responsible for the operational and financial aspect of the project.
4. Ensure that the project is managed and executed in the proper manner.
5. Liaise with the construction team, quantity surveyors, clients, consultants, and contractors.
6. Attend client meetings throughout the project lifecycle, building strong, sustainable business relationships with the client.
What we want from you:
1. Experience of working as a Contracts Manager managing multiple sites.
2. Proven track record in leading teams on projects.
3. Successful track record in making independent, strategic decisions.
4. Commercially aware with excellent people management skills.
5. Experience of speaking to clients at multiple levels.
6. Experience of managing sub-contractors effectively.
