Collaborate Using Biological Expertise: Work with development teams and customer development partners to define specifications for new products, evaluate concepts, and test prototypes.
Experiment Planning and Execution: Data Preparation: Prepare data and reports.
Design Review Participation: Participate in product design reviews with engineering teams.
Support trials at customer sites, including training, executing witnessed acceptance testing, and providing application support for early iterations of new products.
Educational Background: PhD or equivalent in a relevant field of study or extensive industrial experience in bioprocess development.
Experience with aseptic laboratory techniques and mammalian culture, including process development in industrial or academic bioprocessing laboratories.
Strong understanding of the bioprocessing industry with high-level scientific technique and laboratory competence.
Experience in planning, executing experiments, and delivering data and conclusions for group review.
Experience with flow cytometry, including sample preparation, operation, and data analysis.
Project Management: Ability to plan and manage own project work and meet deadlines.
