Primary Tutors Needed – Trafford (M16) Support children one-to-one outside the classroom and help them thrive. Are you a qualified teacher or experienced educator looking to make a real impact? We’re recruiting dedicated primary tutors in the Trafford (M16) area to support pupils who are currently learning outside of mainstream school. Many of the children you’ll be supporting have fallen behind due to medical needs, anxiety, SEND, or gaps in their education. As a tutor, your role is to help them reconnect with learning in a calm, personalised way—offering both academic support and much-needed encouragement. Tuition is delivered on a one-to-one basis, either in the pupil’s home or in a quiet local setting such as a library. You’ll usually focus on core subjects like English and Maths, helping children to catch up and gain confidence in a setting that works for them. We’re looking for tutors who: Have experience teaching or supporting children at primary level Are confident planning and delivering engaging, tailored lessons Can adapt their approach for children with SEND, SEMH or low confidence Are patient, reliable, and committed to helping pupils progress Hold (or are willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the update service What we offer: Hourly pay between £25–£30 (depending on experience) Flexible working within school hours, Monday to Friday Regular referrals in the Trafford area and surrounding postcodes Weekly pay through PAYE – no admin fees Ongoing support and optional CPD Whether you're returning to education, looking for flexibility, or passionate about making a difference in your local community—this could be the role for you.
