This is a hands-on position where you’ll be involved from pre-mobilisation through to final handover, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities: * Lead design surveys & provide detailed information to design teams * Review tenders, focusing on design, programme, and risks * Conduct design Q&A sessions with clients & project teams * Submit & track RFIs to resolve project queries * Create procurement documents & technical submittals * Develop project programmes & highlight risks * Measure labour & materials accurately * Liaise with procurement to order materials, plant & equipment * Review sub-contractor quotes & support contract awards * Assist with design communication & support project QA * Draft site instructions & commissioning documents * Produce handover documents including O&M manuals Requirements: * HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical discipline * Experience in a similar Project Engineer role * Strong knowledge of British Standards & M&E disciplines * Excellent time management & ability to run multiple projects * High attention to detail & report writing skills * Strong communication at all levels (site to senior management) * Knowledge of health & safety best practice * Full UK driving licence Morgan Jones is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
