Teaching Personnel are seeking dedicated Supply Teaching Assistants to work across secondary schools, special educational needs (SEN) settings, and pupil referral units (PRUs) throughout Carmarthenshire.

About the Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing across a range of educational settings. Each day brings something new — you could be assisting in a mainstream secondary classroom one day and providing tailored one-to-one support in a PRU or SEN school the next.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional learning needs or behavioural challenges
* Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning attitudes
* Assist with lesson preparation and resource creation
* Encourage independence, inclusion, and emotional wellbeing among pupils
* Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

About You
We’re looking for adaptable, enthusiastic, and caring individuals who are committed to making a difference in young people’s lives.
Requirements:
* Experience supporting children or young people in an educational or care setting
* Confidence in supporting learners with additional needs (desirable)
* Full UK driving licence and access to transport (essential)
* A desire to support and promote the Welsh language (advantageous)
* A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
