We are looking for reliable and detail-focused Relief Housekeepers to join our team, helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff. This role offers flexible work and is ideal if you are looking for hours that fit around other commitments.

What your day could look like

1. Cleaning and maintaining bedrooms, communal areas and facilities
2. Following cleaning schedules and infection prevention procedures
3. Using cleaning equipment and products safely and correctly
4. Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times
5. Reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly
6. Working as part of the wider team to support the smooth running of the service
7. Treating residents and colleagues with respect and professionalism

About you

You will bring a reliable and conscientious approach and take pride in your work. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided. You are organised, able to work independently and comfortable following procedures and routines. You understand the importance of cleanliness in a care environment and are committed to maintaining high standards. Appointment to this role will be subject to PVG membership.

As a Christian organisation, you will need to have a respect for all aspects of Christian worship.

You will also need to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to adhere to the SSSC Code of practice.
