The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive HR Assistant to join a collaborative HR team. Reporting to the HR & People Development Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the people strategy, enhancing employer brand, and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations.
This is a varied, hands-on role covering HR administration, recruitment support, learning & development, employee engagement, and payroll coordination.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support hiring managers with recruitment, including job advertising, interview coordination, and candidate communication
2. Assist with onboarding processes, inductions, and exit procedures
3. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with legal requirements
4. Provide guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures
5. Assist with Finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
6. Coordinate training sessions with external providers
7. Manage logistics such as scheduling, bookings, and approvals
8. Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives
9. Help produce internal newsletters and updates
10. Lead and organise social and team engagement activities
About You

Skills & Experience
11. Previous experience in an HR or administrative role (payroll exposure advantageous)
12. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
14. High attention to detail and accuracy
15. Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
16. A team player who remains calm and professional under pressure
