Do you have retail experience with excellent customer service skills? Would you love to use your retail knowledge and experience for an important cause? If so come, assist, and support our Shop Manager to run our Lymington shop and contribute to the work we do across Sue Ryder! As our new Shop Supervisor, you will have retail experience with the commercial awareness to deliver sales. You'll have a positive attitude and good judgement to do the right thing. You will have proven team leadership skills and the ability to help lead a large team of volunteers. It is essential is that you enjoy engaging with people, you have a positive can-do attitude and a good understanding of financial and IT administration. Other responsibilities include:


Responsibilities

* Use your skills and retail experience to help drive business, push sales, and achieve targets.
* Help to lead a team to deliver great customer service to our donors and customers.
* Work with the local community to generate sufficient donated stock to drive sales.
* Recruit, train & retain a volunteer team, who will look to you and the shop manager for leadership and guidance.
* Set high standards of merchandising and housekeeping, ensuring your and your team's health and safety is a priority.
* Manage effective stock processes to ensure your shop is well merchandised with fresh, seasonal stock at all times.
* Act as a brand ambassador for Sue Ryder, supporting in-store campaigns to promote the brand and national fundraising initiatives.
* Manage an effective stock process through the Epos operation.


Qualifications

* Customer Service Experience
* Previous supervisory Experience
* Cash Handling/Till work
* Basic IT skills (emails/instant messaging/video calls)
* Organisational Skills
* Lone working experience
* High street retail/leisure/hospitality background
* KPI and target experience
* Charity retail experience
* Health & Safety knowledge
* Team Player
* Key holder/opening/closing experience
* Merchandising/Stock rotation experience

Location: Sue Ryder Charity Shop, 49 High Street, Lymington, SO41 9AG

Hours: 15 Hours per week over 7 days
Pay: £12.79 per hour + rewards & benefits
