Teaching Assistant
Location: Rochester, Kent
Contract: Full time, May 2025 – July 2025
Salary: £70 - £110 Per Day
A full-time Teaching Assistant role in Rochester until the end of the school year. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students in their learning journey, and get great experience! You'll work closely with teachers to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment, assist with lesson preparation, and provide one-on-one or small groups to support students who need extra help. It's a rewarding role where you'll play a key part in fostering student’s confidence and academic growth as the school year wraps up. Responsibilities:
* Assist the classroom teacher in preparing lesson materials
* Supervise students during breaks, school trips, and other activities.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Promote pupil well-being and encourage positive behaviour.
Skills and experience required:
* Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy and a passion for education.
* Knowledge of safeguarding practices.
* A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
