Vehicle Technician – Classic, Performance & Sports Cars
Salary: £32,000–£45,000 per year (DOE)
Location: Plumpton Green, East Sussex – easy access, spacious workshop
Hours: Monday–Friday, Saturday on rota
About the Role
Join a 5-star rated independent garage with over 13 years of experience in high-quality vehicle repairs, restorations, and performance engineering. This is a varied Vehicle Technician role where no vehicle is off-limits, although the team has a strong passion for classic, performance, and sports cars.
You'll work on classic cars, sports cars, prestige vehicles, performance models, and general servicing/repairs, including diagnostics, clutches, cambelts, and remapping. This role offers hands-on experience across a wide range of vehicles in a busy, well-equipped, modern workshop.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of vehicles
* Work on clutches, cambelts, and MOT preparation
* Perform performance tuning and remapping where required
* Assist with classic and sports car restoration projects
* Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
* Road-test vehicles after repairs
* Maintain accurate records of work completed
* Contribute to a team-focused, professional workshop environment
Who We're Looking For
* Experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic (1–2 years preferred)
* Hands-on, adaptable, and keen to work across a variety of vehicles
* Interest in classic cars, sports cars, and performance vehicles
* Confident with general servicing, mechanical work, and diagnostics
* Team player with pride in high-quality workmanship
