Working in our busy payroll office, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing and payment of over 17,000 Barchester Healthcare employees. We seek a motivated individual to help us continue delivering exceptional service to the business.

Job Responsibilities
* Support and guide the payroll team; deputise for the Payroll Manager when necessary.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with management, operational, and support staff; assist Home Administrators with payroll and system issues.
* Understand and implement company policies and government regulations affecting payroll.
* Process RTI Returns and reconcile PAYE P11d expenses and benefits, including company cars.
* Produce reports daily, monthly, and as needed.
* Support year-end processing as directed by the Payroll Manager.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Professional payroll qualification (CIPP Diploma/Degree or equivalent).
* Extensive payroll knowledge and experience of processing large volume payrolls.
* Previous supervisory experience.
* Report writing experience (Crystal reports or equivalent).
* Accounting experience/use of accounting systems.
* Excellent IT literacy and PC skills, including Excel.
