South Coast Nursing Homes are recruiting for a Laundry Assistant to join our team at Eastridge Manor, our dementia specialist Nursing home in Bolney, nr Haywards Heath. Hours: WK 1 - Tuesday 8-6, Friday 8-6 WK 2 - Tuesday 8-6, Fri 8-6, Sat 8-6, Sun 8-6 This role will involve: Operate Washer/Dryers to launder clothes, linens and resident personalbelongings To take particular care with resident’s personal laundry, to prevent accidental damage and present in well ironed state. To check resident’s personal laundry for tears, broken zips or lost buttonsand refer to manager for discussion if a repair if necessary. To be aware of colour coded laundry bags and the temperature required tolaunder.
