Hours 38 p/w – Mon- Thurs 07:45 – 16:00, Fri: 07:45 – 15:15 (Overtime available at enhanced rate)
We’re on the lookout for a talented Service Centre Machinist to join our client’s close-knit team in Coleford.
This isn’t just another workshop role – it’s your chance to work with precision, bring worn components back to life, and play a key part in keeping industry moving.
As a Service Centre Machinist, you’ll be hands-on with manual centre lathes, CNC lathes, milling, slotting, and vertical borers. From shafts and sleeves to impellers and pump casings, you’ll be the craftsperson who makes sure every piece is engineered to perfection.
We are looking for a Service Centre Machinist who thrives on problem-solving, can read and interpret engineering drawings with ease, and has the confidence to reverse engineer components when needed.
If you’ve got NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), strong machining skills, and a passion for precision, you’re already ticking all the right boxes.
This is a role for a Service Centre Machinist who loves variety – one day you’ll be machining, the next you might be balancing impellers, or supporting workshop fitting and site activities. Flexibility, teamwork, and pride in what you do are essential.
