Position Type: Short-Term (2 weeks), with potential for general cover
Salary: £130-211 per day
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
2. Enhanced DBS check on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
3. Previous experience teaching geography at the secondary level is desirable.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
Responsibilities:
6. Plan and deliver engaging geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
7. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
8. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
9. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression in the geography curriculum.
10. Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities as required.
