An exciting opportunity has arisen at Davidson's Mains Primary School Early Years. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Senior Early Years Officer to join our team. Our Early Years team delivers Early Learning and Childcare to children from 2-5 years old, both in term time and over the school holidays. Our current nursery improvement plan includes; exploring the concept of 'Slow Pedagogy', enriching numeracy experiences across the nursery environments and to develop our practice using children's personal plans to share, monitor and update progress. Our team consists of 2 Senior Early Years Officers, 4 Early Years Officers, 8 Early Years Practitioners, 4 Early Years Assistants, 2 Early Years Domestics and a part-time administrator.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
