Job Description
Environmental Technicians are the backbone of our company. You will join a team of dedicated professionals with the opportunity to learn about environmental regulations and hazardous waste removal. Once trained, you will consolidate, treat, store, transport, and dispose of hazardous waste in a responsible and compliant manner. This physically active role involves lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, operating forklifts and mobile equipment, and completing documentation accurately and timely in accordance with regulations and policies.
Qualifications
Basic requirements:
* Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50 pounds
* Ability to stand and walk on uneven surfaces for extended periods
* Visual acuity to read labels and documentation; depth perception for forklift operation
* Ability to hear warning alarms and chimes
* Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled environments
* Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Additional qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED
* Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments
* Basic computer skills for training modules
* Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
* Reliable attendance; willingness to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules
* Professional and courteous interaction with customers and coworkers
