James Gray Recruitment is working on behalf of a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor with a strong track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland. They are looking to appoint a Senior Estimator to support major civil tenders and help secure high-value projects in sectors including infrastructure, marine, earthworks, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the preparation of accurate and competitive civil engineering estimates
* Review technical documents, drawings, and specifications
* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and input
* Support value engineering and risk management activities
* Work collaboratively with pre-construction and operational teams
What We're Looking For:
* Strong understanding of construction methods and the tendering process
* Proficiency in estimating tools and systems
* Commercially aware with excellent communication skills
* Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience
