Role: Sales Manager
Remuneration: £50 - 60K, Company Electric Car, bonus structure, Death in Service benefit, 22 days holiday and Pension
With over 60 years of experience, a large portfolio of products and thousands of satisfied customers the business is recognised as a leading brand for quality and customer service globally. The company are looking for a committed and determined Sales Manager whose primary focus will be to develop business opportunities and strategy within corrugated polycarbonate sheeting, predominantly used within industrial roofing and cladding as well as skylight applications. It will also be your role to mentor and manage two other sales team members and help ensure sustained lead generation activity and efficient, effective account management and business development functions are in place.
You are able to create a robust business plan that will deliver volume, sales and profit commitments across selected business channels.
Take the commercial lead on the identification and reporting of business opportunities in target markets, maximising new business development opportunities with both existing and new customers, developing client relationships.
Represent the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events.
Monitor activity across the UK Sales team against key performance indicators (KPI), utilising this information to help formulate and implement recommendations that will achieve the most profitable outcomes.
Forecast sales expectations and monitor market pricing structures while understanding market trends and shifting customer requirements.
Responsible for the organisational structure of the UK Sales Team to meet the objectives, skills and targets required to assist deliver the strategy.
Motivate, manage and mentor the UK sales team to ensure sustained lead generation activity and efficient and effective account management and business development functions are in place.
